Education
Tamar Kekenadze has been the chairperson of the Free Democrats party since 2020 and has been actively involved in party activities since 2015. She has previously worked in several governmental and non-governmental organizations in the field of NATO and European Union integration. From 2012 to 2015, Ms. Kekenadze headed the Civil Office of the Georgian Ministry of Defense’s mission to NATO and the European Union. From 2009 to 2011, she served as the head of the NATO Division at the Georgian Ministry of Defense. From 2005 to 2008, Ms. Kekenadze worked for the New Generation-New Initiative non-governmental organization, where she oversaw NATO education programs.
