The full utilization of the city's functional and geographical potential is crucial. Our new approach to Tbilisi's development is based on the Five Cities concept in which the city is divided into five spaces, symbolically referred to as the Business City, Cinema City, Museum and Festival City, Education and Innovation City, and Medical City.
Supporting creative industries is crucial for Tbilisi's development. It's particularly important to support local designers in their international outreach and cooperation with leading fashion houses such as Balenciaga and Christian Dior and to support the creation of an international hub for architectural services in Tbilisi. Such a hub would connect local and international universities and ultimately contribute to the creation of a new generation of Georgian professionals.
Modern technologies are the centerpieces of the development of modern cities in the fields of both business and urban planning. Therefore, one of our goals is to transform Tbilisi into an IT industry hub. We would introduce open data initiatives that would encourage companies to create new products for national and international markets.
