In terms of urban development, our priorities are:
Considering proper urban development and avoiding further distortion of the cityscape when issuing construction permits, putting a special focus on protecting business interests and private properties, staying in strict compliance with urban planning standards, taking effective measures to eliminate corruption, and giving more priority to recreation areas.
Undertaking large-scale rehabilitation and renovation of historic districts with the participation of the private sector.
Adjusting the pace and quality of municipal infrastructure and service development to the city's growth rate:
Providing social and community infrastructure such as schools, kindergartens, and essential public transport to fast-growing districts such as Didi Dighomi and the Tbilisi Sea area.
Increasing the quality of municipal services by upgrading and renovating machinery and equipment and providing better social and financial benefits to staff.
Providing full compensation to residents who incurred losses due to housing cooperatives.
Improving the appearance of the city and supporting local citizens by completing unfinished construction projects with the participation of the private sector and, in some cases, through various cooperation models between the government and the beneficiaries.
